Very happy to be a guest at The Lakes International Comic Art Festival this year. I’ll be doing an exhibition and a couple of events, as well as a stall. PAT MILLS: THE POLITICS OF 2000AD

I was lucky enough to meet Pat Mills at Glasgow Comic Con (founder of 2000AD & writer of Charley’s War, Judge Dredd etc) and was surprised and honoured to find out he likes my work. Here he is giving a great talk recently (starts: 2:49) about the politics of comics & 2000AD and at the end gives a hearty plug for both Join the Army and the Action Man: Battlefield Casualties films which I made with director Price James, et al.

BIG COMIC BOOK

I have some work in this anthology of comics about class which you can order through this crowdfunding page for the next 10 days. JOIN THE ARMY

My anti-army recruitment comic ‘Join the Army‘ has now SOLD OUT. Thanks to everyone who bought a copy! I’ve been working with Veterans for Peace UK and director Price James on a series of short films based on the Action Man: Battlefield Casualties poster which came with the deluxe edition of the book. We’re going to start production soon and they should be online by the summer. They’re going to make you feel sick. #BeTheMeat #Military

BAT PERSON

If you’d like this on your wall I’m doing this as a print to help fund my addiction to food. Also, this Saturday I’ll be at ELCAF with some comics on the Small Press Table. I’ll be pottering about trying not to spend my rent money and attempting to bump into living flesh-god Chris Ware, who designed all the delicious promo material which you can see on their website. Then on the 20th June I have work in an exhibition in Cardiff called Solve Et Coagula at The Alchemists Gallery, The Abacus, St. Davids House, Wood Street, Cardiff, CF10 1ER.
