2024 PRESS ROUNDUP
Firstly I was very happy to be invited on the Cursed Objects podcast to talk about the Museum of Neoliberalism, I thought it went very well! Listen here. DAILY MAIL / UK LAWYERS FOR ISRAEL
According to the Daily Mail I’ve been reported to the British police by “UK Lawyers for Israel” for designing the BDS supermarket labels (available to download and print here). Y’know how you wait ages for one awful institution full of bastards to have a go and then three come along at once? I only just found out about this today since the Daily Mail article came out on Xmas eve. The police haven’t been in touch yet although I don’t really expect anything to come from it. This “UK Lawyers for Israel” is the same group that campaigned to have artwork made by Gazan children removed from a London hospital (see below). Which apparently they were “delighted to report”. And the same group who invited extremists from pro-illegal settler campaign group Regavim to speak in the UK. According to PSC, Regavim was cofounded by an Israeli government MP who is “notorious for homophobic remarks, describing LGBT+ Jews as “beasts”, defended violence by Jewish settlers against Palestinians and suggested that Ahed Tamimi, then a 17 year old Palestinian girl arrested for preventing an Israeli soldier illegally entering her home, should be shot in the knee caps.” Well they certainly all sound like lovely people have a firm grasp of the difference between right and wrong. This has all given me a nudge to get more labels available for download, which I’ll be doing this week! I’ll post about them in my story. I’m also now posting updates on my artwork and links in my new Telegram channel.
DEFUND THE DAILY MAIL
I started adding these stickers to the products of companies who help fund racist propaganda by advertising in the Daily Mail. If you’d like to get involved, you can download & print your own stickers or order pre-printed stickers here. The Daily Mail is one of the most vicious and dangerous purveyors of racist propaganda in the UK, and that danger spreads globally through its website. But like the rest of the media, the Mail’s ability to churn out racial hatred, misogyny and anti-LGBT bigotry is only made possible by the support of its advertisers. MINI DAILY MAIL GIVEAWAY
Get a copy here: www.minidailymail.co.uk. I’ve been handing out these hand-drawn miniature Daily Mail newspapers on the streets of Liverpool. The project was inspired by the departure of Paul Dacre as editor of the Mail, a toxic influence on British life for 26 years. The Daily Mail is without doubt one of the most racist, sexist and homophobic far-right publications on the market, beaten only by the BNP annual newsletter.

I MADE A HORRID LITTLE NEWSPAPER
As the final part of my artist residency with RRUNews in Liverpool, I’ve hand-drawn a fun/fear-sized version of the Daily Mail and I’m going to be giving these out for free in Liverpool city centre tomorrow (Thursday) and Friday from these locations: THURSDAY 10:30am-12:30pm St Johns’s Shopping Centre 1:30pm-3:30pm Outside News From Nowhere FRIDAY10:30am-12:30pm Lord Street 1:30pm-3:30pm Bluecoat Courtyard, Ropewalks Square Depending on how many I give out I’m also going to look into making the paper available after generally or getting it reprinted.
