WORLD CUP

Everyone loves the excitement and sportsmanship of the 1936 Berlin Olympic Games! Reading this morning about the Praireland sentencing of peaceful anti-ICE protesters to between 30-100 years in prison for being part of a “North Texas Antifa cell” only makes…
FILTON 25 AND FILTON FOUR

Home Office ads on the Overground announcing some of the dystopian new rules that have been brought to bear against the #Filton25, now the Filton Four, who are being sentenced *as terrorists* on Friday, after being convicted by a jury on…
YES LOITERING

A sign I made for the new show at Museum of Homelessness, CRIMINAL, which runs until the end of October 2026. The sign also featured in The Guardian’s review of the show.
UK GOVT SAYS I’M AN “EXTREMIST”

Novara has reported that John Woodcock AKA Lord Walney, the government’s nominally “independent” advisor on political extremism, sent a dossier to the home secretary, following allegations of abuse during the general election, which included my “Vote for Genocide” poster as an example of a “concerted campaign by extremists”. You can still download the poster for free from my website here.
APATHEID OFF U.S CAMPUS

I’ve updated this poster I previously made about UK university investment in the Israeli apartheid regime so it can now be of use to US student activists in their campaigns to get American universities to divest from Israel. A peaceful campaign which is coming under increasingly violent attack by state security forces and the media establishment.
MUSEUM OF FREE DERRY

I visited Derry yesterday and the Museum of Free Derry where my Bloody Sunday Bayeux Tapestry is on display. It’s such an honour to have my work here, and it was great to see the museum itself, which is an important and fascinating history of the Troubles and of the anti-Catholic apartheid in the North which was instrumental in triggering the conflict. In many ways the city of Derry is like a microcosm of the colonisation, subjugation and partition of Ireland. The scale of state violence from the plastic and rubber bullets, chemical weapons, batons with nails driven through them, and live ammunition that were used against a civilian population is hard to get your head around, particularly when this was happening in what is, ostensibly at least, a UK city, and within living memory.
DAILY MAIL / UK LAWYERS FOR ISRAEL

According to the Daily Mail I’ve been reported to the British police by “UK Lawyers for Israel” for designing the BDS supermarket labels (available to download and print here). Y’know how you wait ages for one awful institution full of bastards to have a go and then three come along at once? I only just found out about this today since the Daily Mail article came out on Xmas eve. The police haven’t been in touch yet although I don’t really expect anything to come from it. This “UK Lawyers for Israel” is the same group that campaigned to have artwork made by Gazan children removed from a London hospital (see below). Which apparently they were “delighted to report”. And the same group who invited extremists from pro-illegal settler campaign group Regavim to speak in the UK. According to PSC, Regavim was cofounded by an Israeli government MP who is “notorious for homophobic remarks, describing LGBT+ Jews as “beasts”, defended violence by Jewish settlers against Palestinians and suggested that Ahed Tamimi, then a 17 year old Palestinian girl arrested for preventing an Israeli soldier illegally entering her home, should be shot in the knee caps.” Well they certainly all sound like lovely people have a firm grasp of the difference between right and wrong. This has all given me a nudge to get more labels available for download, which I’ll be doing this week! I’ll post about them in my story. I’m also now posting updates on my artwork and links in my new Telegram channel.
JUST STOP OIL AT THE SNOOKER

A quick one I painted today inspired by yesterday’s Just Stop Oil demonstration at the snooker. Something worth considering for the armchair strategists who disapprove of these tactics: look up the tactics of the Suffragettes. Not just when they chained themselves to railings and jumped in front of a racehorse, I mean all the tactics. Look at how they burned down churches, poured ink into post boxes, fought police in the streets, set fire to moving trains and interfered with rail signals to try and cause crashes, threw an axe at the prime minister. Ask yourself if you would have supported the Suffragettes *at the time*, rather than from the comfort of the present where we can rest assured the campaign was just & effective. I would have even struggled with it, as I have with some climate actions. But on balance, the scale of the injustice at hand requires interventions that disrupt normal life. How can you have a normal society when half the population are denied human rights? How can you have a normal society that runs on fuels that will end organised human life on earth?
