A neocolonial travel agency, brought to you by the arms trade!
Installed in Munich on Residenzstrasse for 10 days in April 2018.

THANKS

Massive thanks to my old mate Tom Straughan who donated weeks of his time to the project and toiled away at all the endless model making as well as helping me run the bloody thing once it opened. Also giant thanks to Jessica Evans and to William Francis, Yosef Sabry, Henry ClementsDanny Squarelips and that bloody lovely David Jones. Big thanks as well to @torsten_muehlbach for help setting up the installation. I simply wouldn’t have been able to make this project on the scale it has been without the generosity and skill of these people.

Eternal thanks again to Michelle Tylicki for doing the special FX on the Empire Air film Thanks to Johannes Maierbacher for filming the project and @saskianathaliebetz for photography.

Also to the City of Munich Department of Arts and Culture, in particular, thanks to Patricia Müller.

Thanks also to Berenice and Lila for very kindly joining me in my living nightmare of endlessly ripping down the wall vinyl at the end of the show.

And thanks to Munich too, the response has been amazing and I’ve had a fucking excellent time. Prost!

POSTERS

“I look at Libya, it’s an incredible country. Bone-white sands, beautiful sea, Caesar’s Palace, obviously, you know, the real one. Incredible place. It’s got a real potential… There’s a group of UK business people, actually, some wonderful guys who want to invest in Sirte on the coast, near where Gaddafi was captured and executed as some of you may have seen. They have got a brilliant vision to turn Sirte into the next Dubai. The only thing they have got to do is clear the dead bodies away.”
