CROWDFUNDER
The bus was initially funded in 2021 thanks to crowdfunded support and grants from Necessity, The Centre for Knowedge Equity and 10 Years to Save the World.
After two years on the road and thousands of visitors the bus interior is looking a little worse for wear. I'm now running another small crowdfunder to cover the cost of fixing up and adding some new exhibits.

One of the main reasons I'm not running this crowdfunder on Kickstarter or Indiegogo like I have done previously is that these sites are susceptible to a last minute copyright takedown notice from Shell, and on a time-sensitive project like this, that could be a major problem.
In 2018 their lawyers responded to some posters I had in an anti-Shell subvertising campaign by sending me an email demanding I remove any items that could be mistaken for Shell branding from my website, giving me 7 days to do so. After getting legal advice I was advised to go along with their demand, and I fully intended to, but thought I'd to send them a couple of sarcastic emails first. To my surprise, these replies, or maybe the fact I was posting the replies online, got Shell to back down.
