hope all who came on saturday enjoyed themselves, or enjoyed somebody else. shortly we will post action shots such as when, at the end of the set i fell on jan and knocked him flying but in the photo it just looks like he's playing the keyboard with frightening intensity, while i lie in a heap on the floor. many people were pictured in various states of gabbering wreckedness, particularly those emulating the thriller video on the dancefloor or breaking out the hardcore hand movements. big fish little fish cardboard box. stack those shelves. there's social comment to be read into that, but this is not the place.

well done to everyone who came to the SHITDISCO on saturday night and is still alive today. we have some photos of you fun-timers and we will put them on the site soon enough so your bosses will then have proof you really were skyving off work.

it seems we also had some special guests. apparently some of JURASSIC 5 were in attendance at the party. "white boys with guitars making bitches dance" they said, apparently. must have heard us playing ADAMSKI on the laptop.

the release date for the single to end all singles is set. the date is tentatively set for 17th october 2005. WORLD LOOK OUT. we are coming. but we may be late so don't wait up. we'll let ourselves in through the back door.

SHITDISCO are keeping themselves busy with a minor detournment into set design. this is something we know nothing about but will wow all when the results are unveiled as the set for the new video. yes, the video for the forthcoming single. it will feature a recording studio created out of cardboard. that is as far as we have got.

how do.

the various members of shitdisco are coming to london. several times. first, next week, probably thursday we are coming down for organising things. if anyone in london reads this site let us know what fun there is to be had around the end of the week. we will come round your house and ask your mum if you can come out to play.

then, our wideo northern shtick will be infiltrating the capital again, this time to PLAY. gigs, not out round your street. so far, we should be doing head in a blender on 24th sept - a few gigs in the week tba then a return to the righteous club clor at the windmill in brixton, playing with clor themselves on 30th sept. so, do come, bring a friend. last time the club clor crowd dispelled forever the myth of the head nodding, non-dancing london crowd.

then, like an old lady's aching hip, we will be back AGAIN around the 17th of october for the release of the single for gigs and dancin. also around this time we will be heading to some of the other english and scottish cities for gigs in those neglected boroughs. not like orkney. though i heard crowds there are the only ones more bouncy than glasgow.

SHITDISCO SAYS: STAB YOU WITH A BIRO

OK! we have been arranging boxes of cereal and pairs of shoes then looking at them from a helicopter to arrange a portrait of the band for the cover of the first single.

this didn't work so we took a photo instead. its not of the band either. it is a rather handsome homemade SHITDISCO replete with illuminated dancefloor and parcel tape. we are very excited. there will be a full and frank tracklisting soon. until then you can imagine with wonder at what we will cherry pick from the list of five songs in Joel's message. GREAT.

the new website is under construction. Darren is hotwiring bits of circuit bords to things and i am drawing crap writing on cardboard for it. its gonna be SPECIAL.
