My horse isn't very sad today though, as we are taking him to the West Yorkshire Disabled Horse Centre. He looks forward to going to the horse centre very much because he can see all his disabled horse friends there. There are many "physically disadvantaged" horses at the horse day centre. There is a horse with no tail, a horse with no ears, one without any nostrils or a bottom, there is a horse without any hair and there is even a horse with no name. Josephine's best friend has a name though, because it is Brent. Brent cannot walk, just like Josephine, but he has ingrowing legs instead of just none.

Josephine and Brent met on their first day at the West Yorkshire Disabled Horse Centre. They were sat next too each other and just seemed to click. My mum said that they were talking to each other in horsey language. I laughed at her, my mum can be a big silly head sometimes. Ever since that day we have always sat Josephine and Brent together and put them on the same team when it is time to play games. Their favourite games are badminton and Connect 4.

My Horse Has No Legs

After we have dropped Josephine off at the centre, we will go home to get some lunch. I am going to have chips and fish fingers and beans. Then we will go to the cinema to watch James Bond. After all this it will be time to pick Josephine up. Once Josephine has said goodbye to everyone, we shall have to go see Old Robert for the last time. Old Robert is a very old horse and is going to be put down tomorrow because he was naughty and made a poo on one of the other horses while they were asleep. It always makes me sad to see horses who have to be put down, but it makes me even sadder to see naughty horses. Naughty horses surely are my least favourite type of horse.
